Leatherhead District is run by a committed team of volunteers, most with other roles, who are there to help our leaders across all our groups. They run events for our members, young and old…er and support with many aspects of Scouting life.

Fiona shares overall responsibility for the District. Together with Stuart, she ensures the District runs effectively and that Scouting grows in line with the policies and values of The Scout Association—so that young people can enjoy high-quality, rewarding experiences.

Stuart shares overall responsibility for leading the District. Working alongside Fiona, he helps ensure that Scouting is delivered safely, effectively, and in line with The Scout Association’s values—providing young people with great opportunities to learn and grow.

Programme Team Member: Scouts
Samuel Baker
Sam supports Scout section leaders (ages 10½–14) across Leatherhead, helping them deliver engaging, adventurous programmes. As part of the District Programme Team, they offer guidance, share resources, and ensure that Scouts enjoy consistent, high-quality experiences.

Programme Team Member: Cubs

We’re currently looking for someone to join our District Programme Team to support the Cub section (ages 8–10½). This volunteer will work with Cub leaders across Leatherhead, helping them deliver fun, adventurous programmes that meet the needs of their young people.

Aurora Sinclair
Aurora supports Beaver leaders (ages 6–8) across Leatherhead, helping them run fun, safe, and engaging programmes. They share ideas, offer practical guidance, and help ensure every Beaver enjoys a great start to their Scouting journey.

Ruby Hoath
Ruby supports the newest and youngest members of Scouting—Squirrels (ages 4–6). They help Squirrel leaders across Leatherhead deliver playful, inclusive activities that spark curiosity and build confidence in our youngest adventurers.
