Who can join?
Scouting is open to young people and adults across Leatherhead District.
Young people
We offer opportunities for young people aged 4 to 25, with activities tailored to each age group:
- Squirrels (4–5) – a fun and friendly introduction to Scouting
- Beavers (6–7) – adventure, games and learning new skills
- Cubs (8–10½) – teamwork, outdoor activities and challenges
- Scouts (10½–14) – bigger adventures and practical skills
- Explorers (14–18) – independence, leadership and challenge
- Scout Network (18–25) – flexible involvement, adventure and volunteering

Volunteering with Scouts
Scouts is run by volunteers, and new helpers are always welcome. You do not need any previous experience and roles are flexible to fit around work and family life.
